The ‘fourth ray’ beauty empire has hit a wall, and it’s up to you to save it
A beauty empire, known as the fourth ray, has been in trouble for a few years.
The company has been bought by the US-based cosmetics giant, Sephora, for a reported $2.5bn.
But it hasn’t been easy to stay afloat.
Here are some tips to help you navigate this new reality.

“This has been an extremely difficult year for the brand, as it’s been undergoing massive changes, but the fourth-ray community is resilient and united,” she said.
“We know we’re in a difficult position to continue to grow the brand and bring customers to our stores and to our beauty brands, and we’re determined to continue on the path to profitability.”
The fifth ray beauty empire The fifth ray is a beauty empire run by the famous beauty icon and former beauty queen, Mariah Carey.
The brand has sold millions of products across a variety of categories including body and hair care, makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrances.
Mariah has said she is looking to expand into new products, and will use her success as a stepping stone to help other women get on board.
“I’m really excited about the future,” Mariah said in an interview with the New York Times in October.
“It’s an amazing brand, a lot of fun to work with, a ton of fun with my team, and I love what I do.”
Sephora will also be introducing a range of new products for the fifth ray, including a new range of high-end products that will include a “facial scrub” and a “skin and hair toner”.
“I think it’s a really exciting time for the industry, and the brands that make it so successful, to be able to build on the foundation of this brand,” said Hock.
“That’s something I think we’re really excited to be working on.”

The seventh ray beauty and beauty empire is owned by the Australian beauty entrepreneur, Lisa Simpson, and her daughter, Katie Simpson.
Sephoya, however, will continue to run the company under a new brand name.
“Lisa Simpson’s sixth-ray beauty empire will continue its mission of bringing beauty to women globally, as she continues to build her global brand and build the brands around her,” said a Sephoras spokesperson.
“Sephoya is pleased to welcome Lisa Simpson’s new brand into the Sephori family, and look forward to working with the new brand on new products and expanding our existing business in the U.S.,” she added.
The seventh ray is owned and operated by the former Miss America contestant and model, Kim Kardashian West, and she will be continuing the brand’s current focus on fashion.
“We are thrilled to welcome Kim Kardashian to our team, who brings a wealth of experience and a love of the art of beauty, to help us continue on this journey of transforming women’s lives through beauty,” the Sephyras spokesperson said.
The eighth ray beauty brand is owned, operated and managed by the beauty entrepreneur and former Miss USA, Kourtney Kardashian, and is also taking its place alongside the fifth and seventh rays.
The eighth ray is also owned and controlled by the Kardashians, who are set to launch their first beauty line in 2017.
